A big amount of air is required to pronounce the consonant 'თ'. The tip of the tongue touches the upper teeth. The top of the front part of the tongue partially touches the alveolae.

The letter written or typed in this way is called 'tani'.

It is traced out with one movement of the hand and is written between the middle lines: movement of the hand begins a bit lower the upper middle line, goes upwards, drawing a full circle from right to left and open circle beside it.
